Reduce The Whoop
Wooping cough...it just sounds old fashioned. Say it out loud and you likely sound more like your grandparents than yourself. There's a reason for that: the current TDAP Vax that protects against Pertusis has rendered it so. Unfortunately, the Whoop is making a comeback. With vax's waning effectiveness over time and global cases and even fatalities on the rise, there is a clear and present need for medical intervention.
The challenge? Good luck finding an 18-23 year-old who has heard of Whooping Cough, let alone have been personally affected by it. Thankfully, there is a silver lining: College "kids" today are more involved, better informed, and willing to step in to save the world.
